Appliance Disposal

The City of West Allis will not collect appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, or ranges. We do not accept dehumidifiers, AC units, water coolers or anything with freon at this time.  For items with freon, please contact Refrigerant Recovery Inc. or Allied Resource Recovery (West Allis Salvage).

Televisions and small appliances are accepted by the City of West Allis’ e-cycling drop off program. Fees may apply for some items.

The providers listed below may accept your old household appliances. Contact them directly for information.

  • Accepts non-freon items (stove, washer, dryer, water heater, dishwashers, etc.) for no charge.

  • Accepts computers, monitors, keyboards ($5 for each single monitor).

  • Accepts freon items (refrigerators, A/C, dehumidifiers, etc.) for $15 charge.

  • Freon can remain in item.

  • Accepts microwave ovens for $5 charge.

  • TVs, no consoles, $45 charge.
