The Finance Department develops, refines and encourages adherence to financial policies that promote and support the City’s sound fiscal health, safeguard the City’s assets and improve the City’s bond rating.

  • Financial Reporting

    • The City is required to have an annual audit each year per Wisconsin State statutes and as an issuer of municipal bonds. During the audit, the City's financial records and internal controls are reviewed and tested, and the financial statements are formally prepared and reviewed. The Annual Financial Report includes the City's financial statements which provide information regarding the financial position of the City and the results of operations, as well as various statistical information and narrative analysis. These annual reports are typically available by July 31 each year.
