Welcome to the new City of West Allis website. We're excited to share our new digital home with you.
The City's previous website launched in 2018 and technology usage quickly changed since then. We heard feedback asking for a site with a simplified navigation, a more accurate search, a mobile-friendly view, and quick access to the services and tools you use the most.
Our website analytics showed that our most frequently visited pages were for parking information and paying parking tickets; paying water utility bills; our calendar and news feed; and trash and recycling pick up information. With that in mind, we've simplified our navigation and home page to bring those items front and center for you to find quickly, so you can take action or get the information you need, fast.
The site looks great on desktop, and we've made sure the site works great on mobile, where over 60% of our site visitors come to learn more about our wonderful community.
But best of all, we're proud to introduce the City of West Allis app. The app is a pared-down version of the mobile site loaded with quick links to your most frequently-visited City pages and tools. Download the app (on Apple App Store or Google Play Store) for quick connections to paying your water bill, applying for permits and licenses, and scrolling the home feed for news and events updates. Be sure to opt in to notifications on the app so you never miss a thing!
