With over 22 years of experience in economic development, Patrick is passionate about creatively attracting private investment and fostering new small business growth. From closing Section 42 tax credit deals, starting a neighborhood association program, revitalizing neighborhood parks, to developing a road map for small businesses to navigate the City’s approval process, Patrick has truly done it all. He currently serves as Vice President of First-Ring Industrial Redevelopment Enterprises, Inc., is on the Board of Wisconsin Business Development, Inc., and is a Past President of the Wisconsin Economic Development Authority. Patrick loves youth sports offered throughout West Allis, the great small-town feel found in neighborhoods and commercial districts, and enjoys shopping the West Allis Farmers Market for fresh produce to include in his home-cooked meals.

With over 20 years of experience in planning and economic development, Shaun enjoys helping businesses through the process from idea to occupancy. He uses his years of experience as a senior planner and his economic development skills as a Certified Economic Development Professional to help provide a clear path for businesses to open in West Allis. Shaun enjoys building relationships with all entrepreneurs and likes being able to watch them grow and thrive. He is skilled in managing projects large and small, from major redevelopment projects to park improvements, historic preservation projects to loan underwriting. Shaun is also a member of West Allis’ New Market Tax Credit F.I.R.E staff, which has done great work supporting the Southeast Wisconsin economy. Having grown up in West Allis, Shaun has enjoyed seeing the growth that has taken place in the City over the years, which has been a balance of new development along with maintaining the authentic small-town feel of the community.

Carson has over 3 years of experience in economic development and local government administration in Minnesota and Wisconsin. He has a driving passion for connecting with new and existing businesses to assist them in achieving their entrepreneurial goals. Carson also takes great pride in sharing with prospective business owners all the financial tools the City of West Allis offers. Although Carson is the newest member of the economic development team, he can already see the revitalization within the city and is excited to be a resource to anyone that is committed to establishing West Allis as a great place to visit, experience, and explore. In his free time, Carson enjoys visiting the unique businesses that help create the strong social fabric of West Allis, whether that be the breweries and distilleries, the quality restaurants and eateries, the Farmers Market, and many more.
