Did you know that the West Allis Farmers Market works to help increase access to fresh fruits and vegetables for low-income families?

The West Allis Markers Market participates in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) / FoodShare program. Those eligible for FoodShare benefits can purchase tokens with their benefits and use the tokens to purchase fresh items.

Many farmers and vendors accept market checks from Women, Infants and Children (WIC), and the market is a partner with the Milwaukee Market Match Program. When using a QUEST card, patrons of the market will receive tokens and coupons for free produce (up to $60 per person per market in 2024).

Learn more about these and other programs on our FAQ page, and then shop the market on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12-5 p.m. and Saturdays 1-5 p.m.
