Updated Winter Parking Regulations

Updated winter parking regulations_web

The City of West Allis has taken an important step towards improving the quality of life for its residents by changing the minor snow emergency parking hours. On Tuesday, February 7, the Common Council approved an adjustment to the minor snow emergency parking hours in response to community feedback. This decision demonstrates West Allis’ commitment to listening and responding to its citizens’ needs. From now on, minor snow emergencies will be called winter parking regulations, and the hours will be slightly adjusted. This change is aimed at helping people better prepare for winter storms, ensuring that our roads are kept safe during snowfall, and helping reduce the time it takes our Public Works Department to clear roads after a snowfall.
