REMINDER ON THE AUGUST 9 PARTISAN PRIMARY, EARLY VOTING, & ABSENTEE BALLOTS

The Tuesday, August 9 Partisan Primary Election is almost here. Polling places open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.; plan ahead and find your polling place. You can register to vote through our City Clerk's Office until August 5, or at your polling place on August 9! More information on these deadlines, at www.myvote.wi.gov/en-us/Voter-Deadlines.

Looking to vote absentee in-person? Here are your upcoming opportunities at City Hall (7525 W. Greenfield Ave.):

  • August 4 from 11:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • August 5 from 11:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

If absentee voters wish to re-vote their absentee or early-voted ballot, you can request to spoil your absentee ballot and have another ballot issued, as long as you meet your deadline to request a new absentee ballot. Please remember that once these deadlines pass, a returned absentee ballot cannot be changed, and the voter cannot be issued another ballot on Election Day. You must come in-person to City Hall during normal business hours from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with your ID to request your ballot be spoiled. (We will be open however until 5 p.m. on Friday, August 5.) You may re-vote at that same time you come in. You may also make your request by emailing election@westalliswi.gov with your attached ID, and you must make this request by the following described deadlines.
