The Economic Development staff with the City of West Allis along with our many partners in the field of entrepreneurial development can lead you in the right direction.

Individuals interested in starting or expanding a small business in West Allis can receive assistance through the Start Smart Program offered by Wisconsin Women's Business Initiative Corp. (WWBIC). Take your concept from idea to reality through the rights steps of starting a business. The technical assistance and classes provided by WWBIC address legal and financial issues, staffing, accounting, record-keeping, marketing, etc. In addition, individual counseling and coaching will help to complete the business plan and prepare to request financing from banks, investors and/or public institutions.
