2017 Mayor's Challenge

Not only is West Allis a great place to live and work, we want to make it a healthier place as well!  Join Mayor Devine and the West Allis/West Milwaukee Healthy Lifestyles Coalition in the 4th annual West Allis moves 30-A-Day activity challenge. The goal is to get 1,000 residents moving for 30 minutes a day for most days over a month long period. If you are already moving please JOIN US and BE COUNTED.

  • Challenge begins July 10 and ends August 14.
  • Join fellow challenge participants and walk with the Mayor at 6:30 p.m. on:
    • July 10 - Rainbow Park Neighborhood. Meet at north parking lot of Walker Elementary School.
    • July 17 - Liberty Heights Neighborhood. Meet at picnic gazebo near 61st and Orchard St.
    • July 31 - Senior Center/Downtown West Allis. Meet in parking lot of West Allis Senior Center, 7001 W. National Ave.
Win Prizes!
  • The first 300 people to log their activity and complete the challenge will receive a FREE t-shirt.
  • All participants that complete the challenge will be entered to win a FitBit® (one winner will be awarded).
  • Prize drawings at each of the three neighborhood walks:
    • Win a Wisconsin Athletic Club family membership. One will be awarded at each neighborhood walk - three chances to win!
    • Win two tickets to the Wisconsin State Fair. One pair of tickets will be awarded at each neighborhood walk - three chances to win!
