  1. Summer Band Concerts

    July 13, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM @ West Allis Veterans' Memorial Park

    Jim Madritsch will be performing classic jazz music at the July 13 concert, which is being sponsored by Summit City Realty, LLC. In the event of foul weather or other conditions beyond the City's control, concerts can be cancelled at the last minute. Information regarding concert status will be posted each Thursday afternoon on signs around the park. See the City's website (www.westalliswi.gov) or call 414-302-8833 for information. Please bring a lawn chair for your seating convenience.

    July 13, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ Library, Constitution Room

    Calling all teen writers! Join us for one or all five sessions of a writers camp this summer. We'll have writing prompts and discuss our work. Whether you write poetry, short stories or non-fiction, we'll have something for you! Writers Camp is open to students in grades 6-12 or ages 12-18 that live in Milwaukee County.

    Nothing says summer like the smell of food cooking on the grill. Is there a better way to make things tastier than adding barbecue sauce? Join us for this DIY BBQ session as we make a few different types of barbecue sauce, taste test them, and even take a sample home.
