  1. W. National Ave. Reconstruction Public Involvement Meeting

    April 26, 2017, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ City Hall, Common Council Chambers

    Residents and business owners are invited to attend a public involvement meeting being conducted by the City of West Allis Engineering Department and Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) to discuss the planned improvements to W. National Avenue between S. 82nd and S. 76th Streets. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the West Allis City Hall, Council Chambers, located at 7525 W. Greenfield Avenue, West Allis, Wisconsin.

  2. Landlord Training (Free) - Offered by WAPD

    April 27, 2017, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM @ Municipal Court

    The West Allis Police Department is sponsoring free Landlord Training for West Allis landlords. Five informational sessions will be held in the West Allis Municipal Courtroom, 11301 W Lincoln Ave. Sessions will be held on Thursdays, April 6-May 5th from 6:30 to 8:30pm. There is no need to register and you can come to one or all of the sessions. Thursday, April 6: Building Inspections, Codes & Section 8 Rental Assistance Programs – City of West Allis Thursday, April 13: Lead Abatement Refuse, Recycling, Rodent and Insect Control – WA Health Dept Thursday, April 20: Applicant Screening and Rental Documents – Stocking Law Firm Thursday, April 27: Tenant Litigation, Collections, and Lease Agreements – Nitschke & Sika, S.C.   3. Community Clean Up

    Spring is almost here and we need your help to keep our city clean. The West Allis Police Department is looking for volunteers for our Community Clean Up Event on April 29th. All volunteers will need to fill out a waiver to participate. Please arrive a few minutes early to complete all paperwork. You may also fill out the waiver online.     The Plan Commission consists of the Mayor and seven citizen members who are appointed by the Mayor for three year terms.The Plan Commission is responsible for guiding the orderly development of the City through oversight of both current and long range City Planning activities consisting of the following: Land Use Planning; Site, Landscaping and Architectural Review; and, Comprehensive Planning.Meetings are convened on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm.The Plan Commission is supported by staff from the Department of Development, Planning & Zoning Division.
