2016 e-Cycling Program Collects Over 100 Tons of Materials


The West Allis Department of Public Works 2016 pilot program to accept electronics for e-cycling collected over 105.23 tons of material in its first year and continues to accept items at the Municipal Yard at 6300 West McGeoch Avenue.

Hours of operation are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; Wednesday from 7:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

For certain items, such as televisions and computer monitors, there will be a $20 fee. All other electronics will be accepted at no charge. Learn more about the e-cycling program or call the Recycling Office at 414-302-8831 or the Sanitation Office at 414-302-8800 weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
